The Financial Inclusion Forum UK is hosting a panel exploring the rationale for Universal Basic Income (UBI), cash transfers and alternative safety nets. The dynamic, broad-ranging session will cover questions of social justice, the future of work, graduation programmes, and pathways out of poverty, as well as the broader portfolio of supporting interventions including cash transfers, financial inclusion, FinTech, livelihoods promotions, social empowerment, humanitarian crises and social protection, and infrastructure requirement.
Drawing on their extensive knowledge of UBI, cash transfers and alternative safety net programmes from across the globe, our panel of experts will highlight key issues, share their experience of what works, the key challenges, and the future for these policies.
