The Financial Inclusion Forum convened a discussion on the growing challenges of fraud targeting payment accounts in the Fintech space, led by executive director Antonella Abategiovanni. The forum, based in London, has been hosting conversations on financial inclusion topics since 2005. Panelists:
- Meena Khan, Chief Product Officer at Zindgi, a digital banking arm of JS Bank in Pakistan, discussed the specialized financial services provided to Gen. Z’s and millennials.
- Fred Fenwick, founder of Eshango, a financial service platform in Liberia, talked about targeting the informal sector and offering better financial services.
- Caetano Lacerda, founder and CEO of Barte, a Brazil-based payments company, shared his company’s efforts in optimizing cash flow for mid to large companies in the Brazilian market.
- Rory Copeland, a financial services regulatory lawyer and director of the UK Financial Inclusion Forum, advised on anti-fraud and anti-push payment fraud regimes globally.
