Where: Reed Smith, Broadgate Tower, 20 Primrose St, London, EC2A 2RS

Who: Blaine Stephens, COO, MIX; and Christine Allison, CSFI
Happy New Year to you all! 2017 saw a buzz of Forum activity, and among the new initiatives was the Financial Inclusion News Review: a quarterly breakfast event that presents a run-down and round-up of what’s going on across different areas of the sector, to meet a real need among British-based financial inclusion sector observers and practitioners. We held three events last year – in April, September and November – and we’re delighted to announce the date of the first event of the New Year, on February 20th.
Besides a summary of interesting news stories in deals, market developments, regulation, research, product innovation, FinTech and the like, the News Review includes a ‘deep dive’ into one or two relevant issues of the day. In April, we dug down into Indian Demonetisation; in September it was the risks in digital finance. In November, in response to feedback, we also added a ‘Where are they now?’ section, following up on some of the issues and news stories raised in the previous meetings. There is plenty to talk about to kick off 2018, and we hope you’ll join us, and take the opportunity to weigh in on any particular issues you’d like us to focus on.
We’re pleased to welcome back Blaine Stephens of MIX to present ‘The News’, and Christine Allison of the CSFI and formerly the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Task Group on Responsible Credit and Savings, to moderate the session.
RSVP on invitation.
